Founded by John Roussouw, Axle Projects has over the years been finely tuned and improved in order to deliver quality building and project management services in the construction industry. Our mission is to offer an efficient service with quality being the first objective in mind.
Larger projects are personally overseen and scrutinised by a dedicated site manager and all specialised steel work, concrete applications and decorative finishes are professionally handled by experienced artisans and contractors. John is sole owner and founder of Axle Projects. After receiving his diploma in architecture at Technikon Witwatersrand, John worked for various architects and then for himself for several years.
Soon he discovered that the application of principles on site was far more challenging than putting them on paper. He then went into the project management field for a strong shop building concern and took on the role as a project manager.
During his term with this company, he was responsible for the construction of numerous pharmacies, small retail stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. After eight extremely productive years and growing his experience vastly in both architecture and project management, John took the decision to start his own project management and construction business.
